Welcome to CalorieCalc. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CalorieCalc, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

CalorieCalc is an AI-powered calorie tracking and nutrition coaching application. The app provides:

  • Food scanning and calorie estimation using AI
  • Personalized nutrition coaching and meal planning
  • Health metrics tracking (weight, BMI, hydration, etc.)
  • Gamification features (XP, badges, challenges)
  • Community and social features

3. Health Disclaimer

CalorieCalc is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The nutritional information, calorie estimates, and coaching suggestions provided by the app are for informational purposes only. AI-generated food analysis may contain inaccuracies.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, starting a weight loss program, or if you have medical conditions including eating disorders, diabetes, or food allergies.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not use another person's account without permission.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

CalorieCalc offers free and premium subscription tiers (Plus, Pro, Elite). Subscriptions are managed through Google Play and RevenueCat.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the application.
  • Share, resell, or redistribute your subscription access.
  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content to community features.
  • Abuse the AI chat feature with inappropriate requests.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks in CalorieCalc are owned by the CalorieCalc team. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

CalorieCalc is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Inaccuracies in AI-generated calorie estimates or nutritional data.
  • Health outcomes resulting from following app recommendations.
  • Data loss due to technical failures beyond our control.
  • Service interruptions or downtime.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app or via our Account Deletion Page.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
